Delinquencies on UK sub-prime loans hits record levels

The number of delinquencies on loans to sub-prime borrowers in the UK hit record levels in the second quarter of the year, raising the prospect that securities backed by such collateral will come under further strain, potentially forcing a raft of ratings downgrades, according to a new research.
